I agree!
Last I heard was that the people who run the WORST build on the Kurzick side get a special prize!
Is that true, I hear you say?!?!
Only one way to find out!

not the worst i've seen, but still funny...
i like the brave eles and necros with a bar full of 2-3 second cast spells that try to solo a ranger or mesmer. (a real ranger, you know, with interrupts instead of barrage or a scythe) then they (try to) run away and degen to death after their entire bar is dshotted.
i like playing pblock sometimes, and i once kept going match after match against this ele that seemed to not know of the skill's existence and thought i was hacking blackout. "WTF BLACKOUT??? YOU DIDN'T EVEN TOUCH ME??? STUPID MESMER CHEATS!!!1111 REPORTED!!!" lawl i chased him around one match and pblocked him on recharge and it was epic lulz, he got so mad and probably reported me a good dozen times even though i gave him every opportunity to see what skill i was actually using.
i'm also quite fond(?) of the derv/war/ele tanks who say "LOL IT TOOK 8 OF YOU TO KILL ME LOL NOOBZ!" in all chat. hey mesmers and necros of the GW universe...enchant removal is gud. do your team a favor and bring sum so it doesn't take 2/3 of your entire team to kill one retard. throwing every degen hex in the game on someone doesn't make you a good mesmer/necro.
my favorite ever, however, is "CAP CAP CAP CAP!!!". capping is important, yes, but do it tactically for god's sake. cap BEHIND the enemy team's cap groups, not in front of them. what good is capping a shrine if you surrender it moments later? or if you can't handle that, at least make an attempt to defend the shrines that are easy to defend (ele, rez).
ok that turned into a rant, sry XD

psychic distraction is one of the most fun builds u can run imo, the sin who jumps ur monk to get his lead interupted, the tank who gets his enchants owned by shatter enchant and of course, recharging the entire bar of some poor capper ele who doesnt know wtf is going on.

Hehee....maybe it was you I saw last night, then. Can't remember the IGN (it was late) but I did have a good chuckle over it.
If it wasn't you, I had entirely too much fun using icy shackles on some poor wammo chasing me...(not to mention all the dervs and sins under enchants..whee)

Healing hands and vigorous spirit ftw.
But, I forsee an even better wamo-like bar with vampiric spirit now.

I once ran into someone who OPENED with psychic distraction, and then tried to solo things by wanding.

Reminds me of eles who sit in the same place and try to cast long cast timed spells (meteor shower, etc.) with a cg ranger standing like 2 feet away shooting them with constant interrupts. lol

Myself and 3 guildies like to go in as a trap group.
This has got to be the funniest thing ever when the other team realizes they triggered traps and everywhere they go they step on more. LULZ.
Usually we get called nub trappers but we laugh our faces off and actually help win a few battles. With good support we can hold a cap.
Trapping is a lot of fun until we come across a small group of guys who know there stuff and interrupt the hell out of us.

I still love it when mesmers will spend all those seconds casting backfire on me with veil up only to have me remove it before they can cover....with empathy....

Yesterday, I saw the most fail wammo you've ever seen.
Sure, he had the usual wammo affair:
[mending] [healing breeze]
Stuff like that.
But he was no ordinary wammo. No.
He had...
[heal area]

Found a really butchered Shadow Prison assassin running Heal Area a couple days back.

Team's capping a point, suddenly a group of 4 comes running at us, we fight, suddenly we get meteor showered and freak out because the only elementalist they had was a Shock Axe warrior, so we assumed another group attacked us.
We assumed wrong, this was not a Shock Axe warrior, this was a warrior who threw in Meteor Shower so he could... well I don't know why he'd use it but...

Moar stories:
-A friend ran a SoI build and used Inspired Enchantment on an enemy IW mesmer.
-Me ( Shield Bash RA Monk) and a friend ( P block Mesmer) faced and defeated a team composed of 2 eles, a sin and a monk. We were in the Warrior Shrine.
-Related to the above story, I once ran away from a sin. He pursued me, and eventually chased me, and at the sime time he was unloading his chain, I used Shield Bash.

Recently i have been purposly running lolbuilds in AB just to add extra fun and challenge. Its like a handicap for bad players on the other side if you are running a guild team.
Although they still loose because they have both bad builds and lack of skill.
My recent build has been this:
[build prof=E/W name="Meleementalist ene=12+1+1 swo=12][Frozen Burst][Lightning Touch][Slippery Ground][Shock][Inferno][Armor of Mist][Conjure Frost][Master of Magic][/build]
You are free to change the conjure of course but i like to get some use out of my glacial blade
The state of AB is pretty much summed up with the winning rate i have had using that with other guildies running equally odd builds.

I don't really use completely odd builds; moreso just mess about with the optional. (You must have seen me run a WoH Hybrid with Bull's Strike in the optional place sometime, although I'm quite partial to OoB Boonprot. I won't be on as much to piss around with you anymore though, Starcraft calls!)
